In a world of 15-second Instagram clips and constant social media churn, here’s a silver platter of Canadian BMX videos from recent months. This is the Northern Embassy’s Video Round Up.
Byron Kutchera just put together this little video filmed on 16mm film. His goal was to show what a typical day cruising around Halifax is like and he nailed it. Really stoked on how the film looks and how it turned out, all the film burns and slow-motion effects were done in-camera too, those things are rad. Riders are Adam Berry and Martin Tonner.
This might be the corniest thing I’ve ever said/written in my entire life but honestly all 6 of these edits are winners. It was really tough to chose just one, each edit is so awesome in it’s own way. Read on to see 6 awesome videos, including the winning edit.
If this trailer is any indication of how good this DVD is going to be, I can’t wait to see it. Good on these dudes for putting in work, it shows. More news on this to come, but for now check out the Business site here.
“We’ve been filming for this project for quite some time now, and it’s an awesome feeling to start developing our work.
This trailer mainly highlights our most featured riders, but trust me we have a huge amount of footage going into friends’ sections, from almost every rider in Halifax that you can think of.
This is a Halifax scene video, and we’ve put our absolute best effort into including everyone we could. A lot of hard work and good times were put into this project and we’re ecstatic to present to you just a small taste of what you can expect to see in our DVD, premiering early spring.
Stay tuned, and stay busy.”
