On behalf of BMXers across Canada, our thoughts, good vibes and prayers are with David Woelk and his family during this incredibly difficult time. One thing that is amazing about BMX is how all riders come together in times like this to help. Details are above to help David’s family with financial support at this time, pull through David!

Thanks so much Jeremy for posting this!
Sympathies must go to the family. However, having seen the ad for the trust in the local SC paper over the past # of weeks I can’t help but wonder if a helmet was being worn at the time. Personally, I never get on either of my bikes (mtn or road) without one because things can happen regardless of who we are. For example, a number of years ago Bret ‘The Hitman’ Hart of wrestling fame fell off his bike while riding on one of the cycling paths in Calgary and hit his head, triggering a mild stroke. He was riding without a helmet.
You folks should be ashamed to have this on your site today as the family has not been helped by this fund at all it is all over facebook and the people in charge of the fund will not answer any questions from donors.
