The Gorilla Jam hit a big milestone by celebrating its 10th year of existence. Austin Odegnal chopped up this edit with highlights from this year’s event. Shout outs to Josh August for putting in the work to make Gorilla Jam happen.
Riley Abramyk has been working hard on a full-length project he’s aiming to have out by 2020. He decided to chop up some footy and make up this sick little promo vid for it.
Bunch of heavy hitters in here so you already know this video is gonna be fire.
Canada’s Crazy Canuck, Corey Walsh is further proof that Canada’s youth movement is taking over. About 30 seconds into this one you’ll have the urge to blast something at full speed, Corey is sick. Reread his interview we did with him a while back here
We’ve been looking forward to this one for some time now, heavy hitters Brandon Webster, Nathan Hines and Adam Piatek made the trek to Vancouver Island for this new MacNeil edit. Riding some of the Island’s parks and avoiding the rain, Corey Walsh filmed/edited this wonderfully.
This shit is bananas, via DIG, Corey Walsh teamed up with Zach Rampen in search of holy pools in Vancouver, BC. Over the years you’ve very seldomly seen any pool footage out of the Vancouver area but Corey changed that. Alot of work goes into making a pool rideable, good on Corey for scouting and putting in work to make it happen. Zach shot this beautifully and gives you the feel that you are on the deck watching Corey dive in.
“Corey Walsh has one thing on his mind for the last month in the Fall of 2015… pools. Strung out like some kind of addict, you’ll find Corey in some strangers backyard, staring longingly into google maps, or up to his gumboots in pool scum. Needless to say, Corey’s life was a mess, but for an underlying purpose. After scouting, draining and cleaning – the pools were ready. Watch Corey roast these Vancouver gems and get weird with it!

I suck at video descriptions, normally I would go with something along the lines of “I made this video of my friends biking because it’s fun.” But I feel like I could probably say something slightly more interesting about this one. Basically I spent the summer carrying my VX around, annoying as many people as I could to let me film them. After about a dozen mini DV tapes, a broken ribbon cable in my viewfinder and a few trips; (Montreal, Toronto, London and a couple other places) I somehow I ended up with 8 and a half minutes of footage. So thanks to everyone who was down to film something for this! *praying hands emoji* And thanks to the Long Island connects aka The Whammo squad for sending a bunch of awesome clips through. Also massive thanks to Jeremy Deme for letting me premiere this on the site, and for being the man and holding down The Embassy for the last 5 years.
Corey Walsh, that’s all you need to know. Hit play to see why.
“Corey Walsh decided to plan a road trip to escape the end of a cold Canada winter and came through with this amazing edit that recaps his travels to Austin TX and So Cal.”
